Hot Spring “Benifuji no Yu”
5 minutes by car! A hot spring with a spectacular open-air bath with a view of Mt.Fuji.
There are two types of open-air baths, stone baths and cypress baths. The indoor baths include a full-body bath, a jet bath, a bubbling bath, a lying bath, a tepid spring water bath, and so on.
There are also two types of saunas, a dry sauna and a mist sauna. Enjoy the hot spring and the sauna as you like.
Benifuji no Yu [Spring Quality]
The hot spring has a hydrogen ion concentration (pH) of 10.3, which is extremely high for an alkaline hot spring, and yet is mild in composition, making it an extremely rare and high quality alkaline simple hot spring in the world. Alkaline water is effective in removing dirt and dead skin cells, and is often described as “hot water for beautiful women” or “hot water for beautiful skin.
